Hardy Buck is our club legend and was the very first Hoof & Hustle racehorse. This loveable 8 year old Gelding has thrived under the training of Max Comley and won his first race for the syndicate at Exeter by 7 lengths in impressive style over hurdles.

He then ran a stormer over fences at Huntingdon, finishing second after a tough front-running performance, showing his enthusiasm for racing and making our members very proud.

After a tough race in glue like ground at Hereford he is currently on a break enjoying time in the field being freshened up for a late summer and early autumn campaign.

Be part of Monark Wood’s exciting racing career. Not only is Monark Wood a stunning individual to look at, he also has all the attributes and scope to become a very useful horse on the track. By proven sire Morpheus and a half-brother to Sticktotheplan (2025 Persian War winner), he certainly boasts an impressive pedigree.

Previously trained in France by David Cottin, Monark Wood has now arrived in Wiltshire and has already shown trainer Max Comley very promising signs. In his final race in France, he finished second, travelling extremely well before making a mistake at the final hurdle, which cost him victory on that occasion. He was only beaten half a length by the winner and pulled seven lengths clear of the third.

After a move from France to Wiltshire there were clear signs of needing the run on debut at Huntingdon, but he will certainly come on strongly with that run now under his belt.

The future is very bright for this striking grey gelding.

Adaay Dancing is our "super sweet" five year old Mare. She is incredibly well-put-together and has a lovely attirude. Since her arrival, she has continued to improve and impress trainer Max Comley. Our members have thoroughly enjoyed watching her develop, she has had 3 runs for us to date, she sadly unseated on her first start at Catterick and then put in a brilliant performance at Wincanton, finishing 4th but only 2 lengths behind the winner. In her last run the start was a mess and we were always playing catch up to a runaway winner.

Crystal Connemara is a stunning Four year old bay Filly by the sort after Sire Crystal Ocean. Everything she does for a young horse is extremely eye catching and professional. After finishing 3rd on her first run in a competitive bumper for Richard Bandey at Newbury, she has sinced switched yards to Max Comley in Wiltshire.

In her first run for Max Comley at Catterick, she ran an impressive race to finish 2nd, only caught late on by a horse using a different part of the track. She isnt bred to perform on a speed track like catterick and showed her class through the entire race.

We are thrilled to be involved in this gorgeous horse and excited to follow her career, she is certainly a promising young horse.
